IIT Delhi Increases JEE Advanced 2020 Exam Centers, 46 New Centres Added

The dates for JEE Main and JEE Advanced are approaching closer. JEE Advanced 2020 is just a month away now and IIT Delhi has recently released a revised information brochure for JEE Advanced. Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, IIT Delhi has increased the number of JEE Advanced 2020 Exam Centres. 46 new exam centres have been added while 5 centres have been removed – 1 Indian and 4 Foreign centres.

JEE Advanced 2020 is scheduled for 27th September 2020, as per the revised schedule released recently. The registrations will begin from 11th September 2020 which is also set as the tentative date for JEE Main 2020 Results.

New Exam Centres

After adding 46 new centres and removing the 5 centres, the total exam cities have increased from 171 to 212. Given below is the complete details on new additions as per IIT Zones.

As per the revised schedule, candidates would be able to download JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Cards from 21st September to 27the September 2020.

Previously, to ease the admissions for IITs, JAB also removed the minimum aggregate criterion from JEE Advanced 2020 Eligibility. It is yet to see how the exam will be conducted with limited exam centres as candidates mostly have to travel to metro cities to take JEE Advanced.
