Five-Year Dual Degree (IDD: B.Tech. & M.Tech.) Programs

Through JEE (Advanced), IITs offer admission into undergraduate courses for Bachelor’s, Integrated Masters or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering or Sciences. Candidates receive both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees enrolled in the dual degree programs once they complete the course. It saves time and within 5 years, candidates become the holder of two degrees instead of just one.

IIT BHU Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed class 12 examination with minimum 75% (65% for SC/ST) or have come in the top 20 percentile in their respective board.
  • Candidates will have to sit for JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced and get the minimum cut off to be eligible for IIT BHU Admission.

IIT BHU: Reservation Through JEE Advanced Counselling

IIT BHU grants 795 seats for admission to B.Tech courses in 10 disciplines. Candidates clearing JEE Main and JEE Advanced will be eligible for JoSAA Counselling. JEE Main is a precursor for getting admission in NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs and JEE Advanced is a precursor for IITs in India.

  • According to the JEE Advanced Reservation criteria, 15% seats will be reserved for Scheduled Caste and 7.5% will be reserved for the Scheduled Tribe.
  • Candidates are required to submit the necessary documents proving that they belong to the mentioned caste.

  • Placement generally begins every year in the last week of July through to March.
