IIITM Gwalior Placement Report and Summer Internship Programs

IIITM Gwalior Placement has seen a new record this year with more than 80% placements. IIITM Gwalior offers the following courses at its campus; B.E. / B.Tech, which is a 4 year Bachelor’s degree course and B.Tech + M.Tech/ MBA integrated course, which is a 5 year degree course.

• IIITM Gwalior has a placement record of over 80% in the consecutive years and aims at providing a better career opportunity to the students.
• With over 60 companies participating, 70 students have been offered a salary package of at least INR 10 LPA.
• IIITM Gwalior highest package offered is INR 42 LPA, whereas IIITM Gwalior average package offered is INR 14.5 LPA.
• A total of 102 students have been placed and 18 % of students have also been offered Pre placement offers (PPO).
• Some of the IIITM Gwalior top recruiters who participated in the placement drive for the year 2019-20 are Microsoft, Reliance Jio, Amazon, MakeMyTrip, IBM, Flamingo, Dell, Google, Gojek and etc.

A total of 102 students have been placed through the placement drive conducted by the IIITM Gwalior for the current year, 2019 – 20 with the highest package standing at 42 LPA CTC and average package standing at 14.5 LPA CTC and over 18 % of the students have been offered Pre Placement Offers (PPO) during their summer internship programs. Out of 102 students placed, a total of 70 students have received a salary package of at least 10 LPA CTC from the companies visiting the placement drives.

IIITM Gwalior Summer Internships

IIITM Gwalior aims at providing better career opportunities rather than just placements, therefore IIITM Gwalior provides an internship program to its students to be able to gain the industry skills as well.

Students scoring at least 6.5 CGPA in their academics are selected for the opportunities of internship at various companies. Students who fail to maintain the academics are barred from the opportunities. Any other eligibility shall be jot down by the company at the time of visit.

IIITM Gwalior Internship Stats over the year

For the year 2019-20, more than 139 students have been selected for the internship program by the companies conducting the drives at IIITM Gwalior and about 18 % of the students have been offered Pre Placement Offers (PPO). To encourage the students, companies provide a stipend to them based on the role of internship they have been offered.

Out of 139 students selected for internship roles, 121 students have been selected from the M. Tech course (M. tech & IPG – B. Tech + M. tech) and 18 students have been selected from the MBA course (MBA & IPG – B. tech + MBA).

Lowest stipend offered: INR 7,000

Highest stipend offered: INR 13,000

IIITM Gwalior aims at building careers by giving its students various opportunities such as internships at various companies with stipends. IIITM Gwalior maintains a record of 80 % placement which increases with every consecutive year. Various companies visit for the placement drive including: Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Dell, and many more. Highest salary package offered is 42 LPA CTC, and an average salary package of all the companies stand at 14.5 LPA CTC with more than 65 + students receiving a salary package of more than 10 LPA CTC. IIITM Gwalior also maintains a record of its students receiving Pre Placement Order (PPO), placement offer during their internship program at the company. As of now, approximately 18 % of the students have been offered PPO.
