• During the 2019-20 placement season, B.Tech students of IIIT NR got plenty of placement offers from prestigious global companies such as American Express, Microsoft, Carl Zeiss, etc.
• Students received placement offers through both off-campus and on-campus recruitment processes.
• According to IIIT Naya Raipur Placement Reports, the highest CTC offered was INR 43 LPA by Microsoft India.

IIIT Naya Raipur Summer Internships

IIIT Naya Raipur offers summer/ winter internships to students from the entire country since 2017. The internship lasts for 6 to 8 weeks during which students research under the supervision of IIIT- NR faculty members. Students who work for more than 6 weeks during the internship receive a stipend and certificate.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who meet the following eligibility requirements are eligible to apply for IIIT Raipur internship.

1. Students from other institutes pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate course can apply for an internship at IIIT Raipur under any faculty member.
2. Students should have studied IT, CSE, ETE, EE, ECE, EI, EEE, Mathematics, Physics, Management, and related background.
3. Students must be completing the third year (6th semester). Second-year students with exceptional academic scores and achievements may also apply.

How to apply?

Candidates can apply for an internship using the following steps:

1. The candidate needs to submit a photograph or signature in digital format along with a recommendation letter from his/ her faculty with an institute seal while submitting the application form.
2. Visit the official website (http://ims.iiitnr.edu.in/Outreach2020/Home.aspx) and click on Login/ Register.
3. Fill in the form and submit it online.
4. Interns will get hostel accommodation with nominal charges (if required).

Selection Procedure

1. Candidates will be shortlisted by a committee of faculty members. The committee will finalize the candidates and allot each intern with a faculty supervisor.
2. Candidates will be selected based on factors like CGPA, interview, project proposal, technical accomplishments, etc.
3. The selected candidate will be informed about the acceptance of their candidature. He/ She will have to report to the institute on the reporting date.
