The Guru Nanak Khalsa College was established in the year 1937 by the Shiromani Gurudwara prabandhak committee. The first college established by the community outside Punjab on the advice of the architect of the Indian constitution Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. It is a private college.

It is an institute recognized by the scientific and industrial research organization. IT offers 8 undergraduate courses,3 postgraduate courses, and 1 doctorate course.The courses offered here are BSc, Ba, B.com, MSc, Mcom, MA, Ph.D., and certification courses.

Candidates who have achieved 60% marks in their last exam are eligible to apply to this college for their graduation.
