Admission to GADVASU in 2021 is based on GADVASU CET scores for UG courses and AIEEA-PG scores for PG courses. Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University offers Undergraduate, Intermediate, and Doctoral level courses in Biotechnology, Dairy Technology, Veterinary Medicine, Dairy Microbiology, Dairy Technology, Livestock Production and Management, Animal BioTechnology, Animal Genetics and Breeding, Aquatic Environment Management, Fisheries Resources Management, and other fields. The application form must be filled out electronically by the candidates.

GADVASU BTech Admissions 2021

The BTech program at GADVASU is available in two specializations.

Course Specialization
B.Tech Dairy Technology, Biotechnology

Eligibility Criteria

10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate, and 40% for SC/ST Candidates.

Selection Criteria

Candidates who want to apply for admission must have a clear CET GADVASU ranking. The test is administered by the University. Candidates are assigned seats based on their entrance test scores after the exam begins.

GADVASU BFSc and BVSc Admissions

The two-year BFSC and BVSc programs are offered by the College of Fisheries and the College of Veterinary Sciences, respectively.

Eligibility Criteria

A minimum of 50% aggregate (40 percent for SC/ ST candidates) in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects from a recognized board is required.

Selection Criteria

GADVASU provides admission to BFSc and BVSc programs based on a candidate’s performance in the University’s CET GADVASU.

GADVASU MTech Admissions

GADVASU offers a two-year MTech in four specializations.

Eligibility Criteria

A minimum of 60% aggregate in a BTech/ BSc or equivalent degree from a recognized institute/ university is required.

Selection Criteria

The AIEEA-PG score is used to shortlist candidates for one of the two programs. Candidates must, however, meet the following course-specific eligibility requirements to be qualified for the exam.

GADVASU PG Admissions

The university offers two two-year postgraduate programs: MSc, MFSc, and MVSc.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for MSc, MVSc, and MFSc, candidates must obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate in a BSc, BVSc, and BFSc respectively, or an equivalent degree from a recognized institute/university is required.

Selection Criteria

Candidates seeking admission must appear in the AIEEA-PG exam.

GADVASU PhD Admissions

In four specializations, GADVASU offers a five-year PhD program.

Eligibility Criteria

MVSc or equivalent master’s degree with a minimum of 70% aggregate from a recognized institute/university

Selection Criteria

Shortlisted applicants are interviewed at the university level after being shortlisted based on their academic merit.

How to Apply for GADVASU?

Application for admission to several courses in the GADVASU is to submit through online mode only.

  • Applicants are required to go to the website and click on “Apply Now.”
  • The applicant’s enrollment is considered to be the first step in the online application process. After completing the registration process, the applicant can access the portal by entering his or her email address and password.
  • Fill out the form online and upload a soft copy of your passport photo, left thumb impression, and signature that is no larger than 50 kb.
  • Applicants must keep track of their application ID and not give it to someone else.
  • Pay the application fee amount online.
  • After paying the application fees, connect to the Finish button.
  • Take a printout of the confirmation page, or click “Download Application” to get the filled-out application form.
  • When the application is approved, the student will be given access to a “Dashboard” where they can check the application status, download the PDF application file, print the admit card, and so on.
  • Fees for UG courses are Rs 7000, while fees for PG and Ph.D. courses are Rs 7500.
