Ans. KNU offers an Integrated MPhil. PhD course in one specialization only, i.e, English. Candidates pursuing MPhil or those who have completed it 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for this course. The university conducts a written test followed by viva voce for admissions to the course. However, UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SET/SLET/GATE/JEST/Teacher Fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil or equivalent programme are exempted from appearing in the entrance test.
