Q.2) To claim reservation under General-EWS, what are the criteria to be matched by the candidate?

Ans.: To claim reservation under EWS, following criteria must be fulfilled:

  1. Candidates must not be covered under any other reservation like SC/ST/OBC.
  2. Family’s annual income must be below ₹ 4 lakh.

To claim the benefit, the candidate must produce an income and Asset Certificate, issued by a competent authority.
