What About Online Courses?
Next, the last date for granting admission to distance learning courses and fully online programs in technical education is June 30, 2021. Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, AICTE has also directed the institutes not to hike the admission or tuition fees and not to force the selected candidates to pay the advance fees during the lockdown.
However, the Chairman of AICTE, Dr Anil Sahasrabudhe, said that further changes might be made in the academic calendar depending on the situation in future. Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases throughout the country, board exams for class 12th have been postponed. JEE Main April and May session and NEET (PG) have also been postponed by the Ministry of Education. However, two JEE Main sessions have been conducted successfully – February and March 2021. NTA has also released JEE Main Result and Answer Keys for both the sessions.
