With the reduction in the CBSE 2021 syllabus, it may be possible that JEE Main 2021 syllabus can get reduced as well. The official notice is not out yet. What is BTech in Fashion Technology?
BTech in Fashion Technology aims to provide an intense theoretical and experiential training in areas like – Fashion and Textile Designing, Apparel Merchandising, and etc. Below mentioned are few colleges to pursue the course:
- National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)
- Angel College of Engineering and Technology
- Balaji Institute of Management and Technical Studies

Graduates are employed in fashion media, leather companies, quality control departments, export houses, brand promotion, jewellery houses, etc. To study BTech in Fashion Technology through JEE Main, knowing JEE Main 2021 syllabus is critical.
JEE Main 2021 for BTech (Fashion Technology)
For admissions in BTech (Fashion Technology) program, institutes consider JEE Main score among few other national level entrance tests. Aspiring students have to appear for Paper I which is for B.E/B.Tech programmes. The applications for JEE Main 2021 January session is expected to start in 1st week of September 2020 and for April session from February 2021. However, there are chances of it being delayed amid the global pandemic situation. Before starting preparation, students must have proper knowledge of the JEE Main 2021 syllabus. As a matter of fact, CBSE’s decision of 30% reduction in its academic syllabus is likely to impact JEE Main 2021 syllabus.
JEE Main 2021 Syllabus
The JEE Main 2021 syllabus will have topics on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for Paper 1. The Paper 1 in JEE Main will be of 300 marks; 25 questions each will be asked from three subjects
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
It will be a 3-hour computer-based test. Total of 75 questions will carry 4 marks each. 1 mark will be deducted for any wrong answer. The subject-wise syllabus has been given below. However, it is subject to changes on the discretion of NTA.
JEE Main Physics Syllabus
The JEE Main 2021 syllabus for Physics will contain two sections – Section A, theory part and Section B, the practical part judging students on experimental skills. Section A will have 80% weightage and Section B 20% weightage.
