Established in 1955, Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra is located in Ranchi, Jharkhand. It is a deemed university which offers many undergraduate and postgraduate courses. At the undergraduate level, the Institute offers courses like B.E, B.Arch, B.Tech, BHMCT and B.Pharm. It is one of the top engineering colleges in India. Moreover, it is a Government Funded Technical Institute. BIT Mesra Ranking 2020 by NIRF is #17.

  • Some courses at BIT Mesra are also offered in off-campus mode. These course centers are located at Allahabad, Noida, Jaipur, Lalpur, Deoghar, Kolkata and Patna.

Eligibility for B.Tech

  • Candidates must have completed their senior secondary education with PCM as compulsory subjects for being eligible to enroll in B.Tech courses.
  • A valid JEE Main 2021 score is essential for admission into any program of B.Tech.
  • The candidate should also appear for JoSAA counselling in order to confirm admission.
  • The age limit for B.Tech courses at BIT Mesra is 25 years for General candidates. However, there is a 5 year relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories.

B.Tech Course in IIITs through JEE Main

  • B.Tech admissions in India are taken at the national and state levels with the help of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
  • JEE Main is a common entrance exam to offer admission to eligible students to different undergraduate programs at IIITs.
  • The minimum eligibility to get admission to a B.Tech course is passing Class 12 with compulsory subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biotechnology/Biology and thereafter take JEE Main entrance exam.
  • Candidates also have to fulfil the JEE Main Eligibility Criteria to be able to sit for the entrance exam. Generally, the candidates need to have at least 60% aggregate and in individual subjects taken together for admissions in IIITs in India.
  • Finally, students who clear the JEE Main Cut Off (Qualifying) can appear for JoSAA Counselling and choose their desired IIITs based on the expected college cut off ranks.

The Scholarship program offers financial awards to qualifying students shortlisted to pursue B. Tech from IIIT. Established in August 2012, formerly known as Shekhawati University offers various standard courses in Arts and sciences, business, education and engineering. PDUSU is a public state university located in the village Katrathal, Sikar district in Rajasthan. The list of courses offered here is B.Com, B.A., B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies welcomes students for a three-year regular undergraduate program in business administration.

The DU JAT scores will be used to determine admission to these programs. Candidates must have completed 10+2 education levels from a recognized board.   • Hostel: The Hostel provides a spacious, sanitary, and safe environment for both boys and girls. The rooms are well-ventilated and furnished with fans, tube lights, and other necessities. A cot, a chair, a table, and a cupboard are given to each student (locker). It has rooms with RO systems and the mess is also there.

IISWBM: Admission Procedure

  • Firstly you have to crack the CAT, MAT, CMAT, JEMAT Entrance exam
  • All the process of admission goes online in 2021 because of a pandemic.
  • All the applicants including NRI and Foreign Nationals should attach a copy of the mark sheet of the qualifying examination and proof of age, duly attested along with the Information slip.
  • Documents are- Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, Eligibility Certificate (To be obtained after admission), 7 stamp size color photographs.

The Hostel was open from 6 August 2012 and today there are approx 42 girls students, canteen a large dinner hall furnished to accommodate at least 32 students at one dinner time, Kitchen, common living area with LCD tv, Microwave and water cooler and many more facilities are given by college towards there students to provide them better educational environments.
  • Canteen:- IISWBM provides very hygienic and healthy foods to its students at a very low price which is affordable for the students. The institution provides Meals, Snake, dinners to its students and faculty members also.
  • GYM:- IISWBM provide GYM facility to his candidates because they believe that health also plays the main role in life so, institution GYM is fully equipped with new and modern machines for exercise.
