Tezpur University Tuition Fee Waivers and Scholarships

As per the norms of the college, students can apply for scholarships and fee waivers. However, availing for more than one is considered against the norms.

  • A student can avail only one scholarship during the completion of his/her program. In a case where the student is eligible for more than one scholarship, they’re encouraged to apply to the one they find most beneficial to them.
  • Additionally, the student is also expected to inform the awarding authorities and the Heat of the Institute regarding their eligibility and subsequent deduction.
  • Students found availing more than one scholarship can have legal difficulties for which Tezpur University will not hold any culpability.

  • Free Studentship / Tuition Fee Waivers are also granted to students belonging to BPL/AAY category. 10% of the total number of B/Tech students can be provided with free studentship for every semester.
  • Partial Tuition Fee Waivers are granted to students other than the BPL/AAY category.
  • For first semester students, the fees will be waived based on their AIEEE score and if they have secured at least 70% marks in the qualifying 10+2 examination.
  • The grant of free/partial studentship for 2nd to 8th semesters is dependent upon the student’s CGPA in the preceding semesters as well as student attendance.
  • Students are expected to have a minimum of 80% attendance as well as a CGPA of 8.0 or above. Additionally, a student can be rejected if they have been placed under academic probation or have been reported for any disciplinary action.

In some of the rare cases, there will be fee waivers for the students.

  1. There will be a 100% tuition fee waiver, for students belonging to the SC, ST and PwD categories.
  2. As for General and OBC students with the annual family income of less than Rs, 1 lakh, there will be full remission of the tuition fees.
  3. For the students belonging to the general and OBC categories – with the family income being between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh per annum – remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee is allowed.
  4. Students from the above categories can also get financial assistance in regards to hostel and mess charges if they avail the scholarships provided by IIT Ropar.

IIITV-ICD Fee Structure For B.Tech Admission 2020-21

IIIT Vadodara-International Campus Diu or IIITV-ICD Fee structure is declared on the authority website, as the institute is going to begin its batch of 2020-21 very soon. The date of the orientation program will be announced later. Fees are incompletely to be paid to the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and halfway to the institute at the time of reporting for admission.
