Bengal Institute Of Technology (BIT) is one of the most recognized engineering colleges in India and obtained a rank of 87 by QS 2020. The Institute is established by the Techno India School and it is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University Of Technology ( MAKAUT)The College provides many extracurricular activities like Drama, Sports, and debate competitions. BIT Kolkata Admissions

  • Admission to the B.Tech program can be done through WBJEE/JEXPO/JEE entrance examination.
  • The minimum qualification required for B.Tech is passing 10+2 with 45%(For general category candidates) and 40%(ST/SC/OBC candidates)
  • Then the admission will be conducted through a counseling process which will be based on the ranks obtained in the entrance exam.
  • Based upon the cutoff the candidate can choose his / her stream.
  • Then the candidate has to visit the college to fill the application form and submit their documents for document verification.
