Barasat College, Kolkata, West Bengal was established in 1972 was affiliated to West Bengal State University. It offers undergraduate courses such as BA Honors, B.Sc. Honors, and B. Com Honors and BA, B.Sc. and B.Com. General courses.

For admission in relative courses candidates must qualify 10+2 with 50% marks as aggregate, 45% marks in the associated topics, and 55% marks in the essential honors circulate subject.
