The Aryabhatta College has recently conducted an ESUMMIT21 an online event, for students to interact with leading industry experts and get a plethora of learning opportunities. TechPioneers, The Computer Society of the Institution organized a session on “Technology Trends in 2021 and Career Opportunities” The committee enlightened the students on Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Robotics Process Automation. The institution offers undergraduate courses in Commerce, Science, and Humanity.

Along with this many add-on certificate courses are provided for a short duration i.e. 100-120hours. These courses are provided to enhance the knowledge and skills in various departments. Some of the add on courses are:-

  • The admission for some courses will be based on the entrance examination.

  • There will be no offline admission for any applicant, all the applicants have to apply online through the university portal.
  • The marks entered by the applicant at the time of admission will serve as the basis of computing the total marks of Best Four for admission in courses to Arts, Commerce, Humanities department and Three subjects for admission in courses to Science department.
  • People belonging to ST/SC category get a relaxation of 5% in merit for admission prescribed for general students.
  • Applicants from the Armed forces (CS) category shall be given a relaxation of 5% in the qualifying examination.
  • Eligibility criteria for merit-based admissions under the EWS category shall be identical to that of people belonging to the general category.
  •  There will be no disadvantage in admission for the applicants with gap year (s).

B.A. (Hons) English
  • An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination is a must.
  • The candidate must have passed English in the qualifying examination and a score obtained in English will be compulsory for the calculation of the Best Four percentage.
B.A. (Hons) Hindi
  • An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination is compulsorily required.
  • The candidate must have passed Hindi in the qualifying examination and a score obtained in English will be compulsory for the calculation of the Best Four percentage.
B.A. (Hons) Psychology, History, Political Science
  • An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination is compulsorily required.
B.A. (Hons) Economics
  • An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination is mandatory.
  • The candidate must have passed Mathematics in the qualifying examination
B.A. Programme
  • An aggregate of 40% marks in the qualifying examination is compulsorily required.
  • If a candidate changes his stream to get admission into B.A. Programme then a deduction of up to 5% may be imposed on the percentage of best four subjects.
Bcom
  • An aggregate of 40% marks in the qualifying examination is a must.
  • Selection will be made based on marks scored in qualifying examination including any one language i.e. Hindi/English and three best subjects.
B.com (Hons.)
  • An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination is compulsorily required.
  • The candidate must have passed Mathematics in the qualifying examination.
  • Selection will be made based on marks scored in qualifying examination including any one language i.e. Hindi/English and three best subjects.
BSc (Hons.) Computer Science
  • 60 % or more marks are compulsorily required in mathematics.
  • 60 % or more marks required in aggregate of four subjects including Mathematics, One language subject of any two among Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science.
BSc (Hons) Mathematics
  • 50% marks and an aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination are compulsorily required.
BA (Hons) Business Economic / BMS
  • An aggregate of 60% more marks in the qualifying examination in 4 subjects – Mathematics, English and any other 2 is necessary. ,

Selection Criteria:-

There are two criteria to get selection in Aryabhatta College, New Delhi

  • Merit Basis
  • Entrance exam

For admission in BA (Hons.) Business economics and BMS the candidate have to give the entrance exam and for other courses, admission will be based on cutoffs which will be based on the merit basis

The cutoff rank for the entrance exam is 279-714 for the general category and 3022-5144 for the other categories.

Aryabhatta College Admission Process

  • Applicants should register online from the university portal (http://www.du.ac.in/) by registering through email id and contact number.
  • Then he/she have to fill the application form by providing personal details like name, father’s name, date of birth, academic qualification
  • The next step is to scan and upload documents and pay the required admission fee.
  • The admission fee for general category student is 250, and for ST/SC is 100 which is to be paid online through net-banking, debit card.
  • Eligible applicants who meet the required qualification of the college should log in to the UG Admission portal.
  • Certain documents will be required for verification :
    • Marksheet of 10th and 12th class
    • Character Certificate
    • Caste certificate (In case of OBC/SC/ST candidates)
    • Transfer /Migration Certificate
  • Once the documents are verified and payment of the course fee is successful, The admission will be done.
