JEE Main Rank Predictor is developed for candidates to take data-driven decisions rather than static predictions in regards to . In order for using this user-friendly tool, candidates are not required to complete any multistep registration process.

Candidates have to input other details like score, their category and the year they appeared for the JEE Main and class 12th exam and later click on Predict Now button in order to know the possible rank of the student. Step 1 – Personal Details

All the candidates should first add the essential details like Name, Mobile Number, registered Email Address in order to use the JEE Main tool. There is strict data privacy adherence policy and no details will be shared with third party vendors other than for direct correspondence.

Step 2 – Fill-in the relevant details

After filling all the personal details, the next step for aspirants is to fill-in in the required details for accurate rank prediction.

  • Fill in the expected marks one wishes in to gain in the JEE Main 2019
  • Select a category from the drop-down menu in rank predictor tool.
  • Enter examination date  and registration no. for JEE Main 2019
  • Select the year of passing 10+2.
  • Also choose preferred location and preferred branch.

Step 3 – Result

Declaration of JEE Main Result

JEE Main Result 2019 will be declared on January 31, 2019, for the session held in January whereas the result for the JEE Main 2019 session held in April will be released on April 30, 2019. JEE Main Counselling 2019 by JoSAA will be conducted in the month June-January for all the shortlisted candidates.

JEE Main 2019 Answer Key and Question Paper

JEE Main Answer Key 2019 is published on the official website on January 14. JEE Main 2019 was conducted successfully from January 08 to January 12. To download the answer key, candidates need to login with their credentials.

NTA (National Testing Agency) has replaced CBSE as the new nodal testing authority for JEE Main and several other important entrance exams. This is the first phase of JEE Main as the new nodal authority will conduct the exam twice every year.

Note: JEE Main Answer Key 2019 will be published twice. The provisional answer key will be released earlier so that challenges can be called forth from candidates.

JEE Main 2019 Result will be announced by NTA at jeemain.nic.in. The result for JEE Main 2019 April session is expected to be released on April 30, 2019.    .

JEE Main Rank Calculation

JEE Main Merit list will be released at the time of counselling. Also, class 12 marks will not be considered for calculation of ranks. The following formula is used for calculating JEE Main score is-

JEE Main Score = 4 marks x number of correct answers – number of wrong answers x 1

The actual scores of candidates in JEE Main exam will be used to compute the ranks. The AIR is affected directly by the scores obtained in Joint Entrance Exam i.e. higher the scores, better the rank in JEE Main. In case, two or more candidates score equal marks, then the tie-breaking rule or inter-se-merit will be applicable.

JEE Main Answer Key 2019

The exam conducting body will release the image responses & answer keys of the offline exam and answer keys of CBT at www.jeemain.nic.in. 

  • The answer keys will be available online until the result is announced.
  • Those who are not satisfied with the captured response can challenge the JEE Main official answer keys along with the proof.
  • A fee of INR 1000 per question will be charged for challenging the answer keys where the JAB’s/CBSE’s decision on the challenges will be final.

  • A rank list will be set up according to the marks obtained by the candidate in the JEE Main examination.
  • It will be released independently for paper 1 as well as paper 2. Check JEE Main Exam Pattern
  • Admissions will be provided according to the rank achieved in the entrance test.
  • The tie-breaking rule will be applied in case two or more applicants get equal marks.

JEE Main Counselling 2019

  • JoSAA holds JEE Main Counselling and Seat Allotment for JEE Main and JEE Advanced candidates after the declaration of JEE Main result.
  • A total of 6 rounds will be conducted for admission.
  • Based on marks scored in JEE Main, candidates will be called for JEE Main Counselling.
  • 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs) will be participating in JEE Main Counselling.
  • The entire seat allocation and admission process would be managed through centralized JEE Main Counselling.
